Students are equipped with language and culture knowledge of English and Vietnamese, having cultural and social knowledge of English-speaking countries mainly in England and America, having knowledge of theory in translation from English to Vietnamese and vice versa especially in economic, commercial and socio-cultural fields and so on. Besides, students can be focused on developing some necessary skills for future jobs such as Vietnamese and English communication skill using in daily life and job, office skills like editing documents, files and commercial contracts…

After graduating, students will be provided a Bachelor Degree in term of Distance Education. The degree will be legally ensured and will be able to study for Master or Doctor degree.

Students graduating English Major always have many job opportunities with attractive salary in companies with foreign elements; take part in translation activities; work as an English translator in diplomatic agencies, media agencies, Vietnamese and international socio-economic organizations, English teachers (if having pedagogic certificate), researcher and sociological investigation.

Candidates must hold high school degree or equivalent degree according to regulation of Ministry of Education and Training.
