Tra Vinh University is the unique school in Vietnam training Khmer Language. Studying Khmer Language students are equipped with fluent communication skill in Khmer and Vietnamese, research skill in languages in general and Khmer in particular, Vietnamese-Khmer and Khmer-Vietnamese translation skills.

After graduating, students will obtain Bachelor Degree in term of Distance Education. The degree will be legally ensured and will be able to study Master or Doctor degree.

Job oppotunities

Students graduating can work at news agencies such as newspaper, Khmer radio and television station, tourism companies, hospitals, domestic and foreign commercial companies having demand to use Khmer, social union agencies in the regions with a large number of Khmer people. Students also can do research and teach Khmer language in institutes, schools and research centers.

Candidates must hold high school degree or equivalent degree according to regulation of Ministry of Education and Training.
